Dela is a beatmaker who knew he wanted to be a musician at the age of 9, when his older brother took him to a Guns N' Roses show. Growing up on the suburban outskirts of Paris, he often had Tribe, Pete Rock and Jay Dee in his headphones whilst he was riding the busses and trains. He's teamed up with Saint Ezekiel on a fresh single 'T'Challa & Phife'. From the outset, you know you're in for a jazzy treat, with an addictive bass line and luxuriant saxophone. Noodling electric guitar brings some intimacy into the track, whilst strings expand the sentiment of the track into something larger.
